U.S., Canadian, Swedish candidates remain after first cuts in OECD race

Two candidates from the Czech Republic and Poland this week dropped out of the race to become the next secretary-general of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, leaving eight more in the running, including those from the U.S., Canada, Sweden and Australia.
