Report: U.S. to notify Canada 'within days' of intent to reopen NAFTA
The U.S. will formally notify Canada of its intent to reopen NAFTA talks “within days” of this week's inauguration, according to a Canadian newspaper. The Globe and Mail reports Wednesday that Wilbur Ross, President-elect Donald Trump's pick to run the Commerce Department, has “informed Canada that rules of origin and independent dispute tribunals will be central” to those negotiations.
