Obama nominates Ways & Means Democratic aide for ITC commissioner

President Obama this week nominated a Democratic House Ways & Means Committee aide, Jason Kearns, to serve on the International Trade Commission. Kearns, the chief trade counsel for the minority on Ways & Means, would serve until December 2024 if approved by the Senate, according to a Jan. 17 White House announcement.
