ITC votes to continue probes into active anode material from China
The U.S. International Trade Commission on Friday voted to proceed on investigations into active anode material from China, finding “reasonable indication” that unfairly priced or subsidized imports of the key input for electric vehicle batteries is harming a nascent U.S. industry. The Commerce Department in January launched antidumping and countervailing duty investigations into imports of active anode material from China following petitions filed the previous month by the “American Active Anode Material Producers,” a coalition of U.S. producers.
