Goods and services deficit up by nearly $1 billion in October

The latest trade numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis show another rise in the trade deficit. The goods and services deficit rose from $54.6 billion in September to $55.5 billion in October, marking a rise of $0.9 billion. News reports suggested the level was the highest in a decade.
