European Council approves tariff agreement with U.S.

The European Council this week approved a tariff agreement with the U.S. aimed at increasing trans-Atlantic market access, sending the pact back to the European Parliament for further review. Under the arrangement, which was announced in August , the EU will remove tariffs on imports of U.S. lobster products for five years.
