EU approves U.S.-specific beef quota, resolving longstanding WTO dispute

EU member states on Monday approved granting the U.S. a majority share of its tariff-rate quota for hormone-free beef, resolving a longstanding World Trade Organization dispute over a European ban on hormone-treated beef.
