BIS seeking comments on export control cooperation within the TTC

The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security is soliciting stakeholder feedback on optimizing U.S.-European Union export control practices, the agency announced this week, tying the comment request to the new Trade and Technology Council. The U.S.-EU TTC has set up 10 working groups, one of which is focused on cooperation on export controls. Both sides have vowed to ensure public input and transparency into council dealings.
