U.S. to India: Copper duties – like other metals tariffs – aren't safeguards
The U.S. is rebuffing India’s charge at the World Trade Organization that Section 232 duties on copper are safeguard measures, reiterating an argument it has made in disputes over national security duties on steel and aluminum.
