White House extends auto tariff offset program, rolls out truck duties

The White House on Friday announced it would extend a program aimed at easing the tariff burden of U.S. automakers importing parts that face 25 percent duties while also unveiling 25 percent national security-based tariffs on medium and heavy-duty trucks that will include an offset program for engine parts.
