Warner: BIS should be wary of open-source chip infrastructure
U.S. companies “may inadvertently be ceding U.S. technology advantages” to China through their participation in open-source ecosystems and standards-development organizations, Senate Intelligence ranking member Mark Warner (D-VA) warned Bureau of Industry and Security chief Jeffrey Kessler.
