Granholm: LNG export study shows public interest decisions need more scrutiny

The Biden administration’s long-awaited report on the effects of liquefied natural gas exports shows that the Energy Department must reassess the public interest determinations it is required to make for exports to countries with which the U.S. does not have free trade agreements, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said on Tuesday as the report was released.
