Omnibus bill would boost USTR, BIS budgets, fund CHIPS programs

The fiscal year 2023 omnibus spending bill released by Senate appropriators this week would increase the budgets of the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and Bureau of Industry and Security while also funding programs created via the CHIPS and Science Act designed to boost U.S. innovation and competitiveness.
