USTR calls for TRIPS deadline extension at WTO, new ITC investigation

With World Trade Organization members approaching a deadline to decide whether to expand a ministerial decision on flexibilities to the Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative on Tuesday said it supported pushing the decision back by six months to provide time for more study and deliberation.
