House Democrats call for waiver of Jones Act for Puerto Rico
A group of eight Democratic House lawmakers is calling on the Biden administration to waive the Jones Act, which requires that goods transported between U.S. ports be carried on U.S. vessels, for one year for Puerto Rico as it recovers from significant hurricane damage.
