A pair of House Ways & Means subcommittee chairs on Wednesday pressed Tesla on its compliance with U.S. trade laws amid news that the electric vehicle company has opened a showroom in the Xinjiang province of China, where the State Department alleges the Uyghur population is subject to forced labor.
