WTO proposes rescheduling MC12 in early March

The World Trade Organization is proposing to reschedule its 12th ministerial conference for the first week of March after the meeting was postponed suddenly due to new travel restrictions amid concern over the new omicron variant of the novel coronavirus. Last week’s postponement was the second due to the pandemic for MC12, which was initially scheduled to take place in July 2020 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
