Brady, Crapo rip Biden administration for digital tax deal
The Republican leaders of the House Ways and Means and Senate Finance committees last week blasted a deal the Biden administration reached with France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Austria and Spain because it does not require that those countries immediately remove digital services taxes the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has classified as discriminatory against U.S. businesses. USTR agreed to terminate its Section 301 investigations into the taxes, as well as tariffs suspended pending the results of international talks...
