U.S. lays out argument against Canada in dairy TRQ dispute
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative this week filed its first submission in a U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement dispute alleging that Canadian tariff-rate quotas violate several provisions of the trade deal. The U.S. requested consultations with Canada over Ottawa’s TRQ allocation last December. It requested the formation of a panel in May; it was composed last week.
