Trade official: Mexico eyeing USMCA's passage after Sept. 1 – if 232 tariffs are lifted

Mexico's government hopes to send a USMCA ratifying bill to its legislature after Sept. 1 – but it needs a labor reform bill passed before that, and it needs U.S. steel and aluminum tariffs lifted, according to Deputy Trade Minister Luz Maria de la Mora.
