Bipartisan group of senators lauds prospects for U.S.-UK trade deal
A bipartisan group of 19 senators this week commended the Trump administration for its attempts to strike a trade agreement with the United Kingdom. Last month, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer notified Congress of the Trump administration’s intent to begin trade talks with the UK. USTR is required to notify Congress 90 days before it enters into free trade agreement negotiations.
