Trade group: U.S. ag exports to Cuba plummeted in August despite low prices
U.S. agriculture and food exports to Cuba are declining despite lower U.S. commodity prices, according to data released on Tuesday by the U.S.-Cuba Trade and Economic Council . Year-to-date exports are down 8.8 percent after a precipitous decline in August, according to the data. Through July, year-to-date exports were up 2.8 percent.
