Bill to allow petitions for footwear coverage in GSP introduced in House

Bipartisan legislation introduced this week in the House would make certain non-import sensitive footwear acceptable to petition for inclusion in the Generalized System of Preferences program. The legislation is sponsored by House Ways & Means Members Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Earl Blumenauer (D-OR).
