Brown: Administration Will Hold Ground On Biologics, Hatch TPP Support Inevitable

Senate Finance Committee member Sherrod Brown (D-OH) said Tuesday that he believes the Obama administration will not meet Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch's (R-UT) demand that biologic drugs be provided 12 years of exclusivity under the Trans-Pacific Partnership. “I can't imagine the White House is gonna cave on [biologics] with Orrin Hatch,” Brown told reporters on June 28 after an event on TPP at the AFL-CIO.
