Seven Democratic members of the Senate Agriculture Committee have pushed U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman to extract sufficient market access for U.S. dairy products in Canada and Japan under the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) that would offset market share gains New Zealand may secure from the pact.
