State Trafficking Report Upgrades Malaysia, Removing Roadblock For TPP
The State Department has removed Malaysia from its annually updated blacklist of countries that most egregiously fail to combat human trafficking, smoothing the process for congressional approval of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) despite an outcry from human rights advocates in Washington and Kuala Lumpur.
