The United States this week held initial discussions in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) negotiations on its proposals for the parts of an environmental chapter covering disciplines on fisheries subsidies, shark preservation, illegal trade in wildlife and plant products, and illegal logging, according to a U.S. trade official.
