LAHAINA, Hawaii -- After years of holding back, the United States has finally made an initial offer to Australia to provide additional access for Australian sugar under a Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement, and the two sides are now engaged in a negotiation to try and bridge the gaps between their positions, Australian Trade Minister Andrew Robb said here Wednesday (July 29).
