Panama Pushes Treasury To Accept Double Tax Agreement

Panama's chief trade negotiator said Oct. 15 that Panama is in talks with the U.S. Treasury Department to determine whether negotiating a double taxation treaty (DTT) with the U.S. would address U.S. problems with tax information, which have held up Congressional consideration of the Panama free trade agreement.
