Ways & Means trade panel chair: GSP renewal making ‘good progress’
Lawmakers are making “good progress” toward a bipartisan reauthorization of the Generalized System of Preferences, House Ways & Means trade subcommittee Chair Adrian Smith (R-NE) said on Tuesday, suggesting GSP legislation could help “tee up” legislation to extend the African Growth and Opportunity Act as well.
