USTR: No 301 tariffs on Vietnam; will monitor currency commitments

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative on Friday officially announced it will not impose tariffs in a Section 301 investigation of Vietnam’s currency practices in lieu of a joint agreement between the Treasury Department and the Vietnamese State Bank that it will continue to monitor for compliance.
