U.S., Norway pledge ‘strategic cooperation’ on critical minerals

The U.S. and Norway on Thursday said they would advance their discussions on critical minerals to include labor and environmental standards and address non-market practices of other countries. The two countries, in a joint statement , said they would “move forward” with a “Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Concerning Cooperation on High-Standard, Market-Oriented Trade of Critical Minerals” that will advance their “strategic cooperation” in this area.
