U.S., Korea commit to use KORUS to tackle ‘emerging trade’ issues

The U.S. and South Korea have pledged to use the nearly 10-year-old U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement to tackle new issues, the two sides announced on Friday, citing supply chain challenges, emerging technologies and the digital ecosystem as areas for future cooperation.
