Trade commissioner: EU wants to work with Trump on China

The European Commission is working to engage with the new U.S. administration on shared concerns about China, EU Trade Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič told lawmakers in Brussels on Wednesday, suggesting closer alignment could help the EU avoid trade tensions with Washington. The EU should “be ready to explore deeper EU-U.S. cooperation on economic security -- an area where both the EU and the U.S. want to progress -- including on how to deal with joint challenges coming from China's non-market policies...
