Tariff targets commit to further talks, want Section 232 duties included
Japan and Korea, the first recipients of letters from President Trump setting new tariff rates, on Tuesday promised to continue negotiating with the U.S. but called for the talks to include discussion of sector-specific duties imposed under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act, such as those on autos.
