As talks begin, Vietnam’s trade minister asks businesses to buy more U.S. goods

Vietnamese companies must increase purchases of U.S. manufactured goods as the two countries seek to “balance” their trade relationship, the country’s trade minister said on Wednesday, the same day the sides began a first round of trade talks.
