Tai, Raimondo defend engagement with Congress on IPEF; Wyden unmoved
The Biden administration has “consistently engaged” with Congress during its negotiation of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity, U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai and Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said this week, responding to Senate Finance Committee Chair Ron Wyden (D-OR) and other members of the panel who have called on the administration to seek congressional approval for and provide greater transparency in the talks.
