Sources: Brazil pushing back on Section 232 quota deal with the U.S.

Brazil wants to modify a Section 232 quota deal with the U.S. -- one that could eliminate quotas on semi-finished steel imports -- but sources familiar with the arrangement say Brazilian officials have not heard from the U.S. since last month. The U.S., on April 26, pitched a deal that included a quota covering 70 percent of Brazil's average finished steel exports to the U.S over the last three years, in addition to a 100 percent quota on semi-finished exports...
