Sens. Coons, Risch introduce bill to renew, update AGOA for 16 years

A new bill introduced by key senators would renew the African Growth and Opportunity Act for an additional 16 years, to 2041, and update the initiative by spacing out eligibility reviews, providing a range of enforcement options and tapping the State Department and Office of the U.S. Trade Representative to conduct such reviews and enforce the program, among other changes.
