Senate confirms Greer to serve as U.S. Trade Representative
The Senate on Wednesday voted to confirm Jamieson Greer to serve as U.S. Trade Representative and shepherd President Trump's trade agenda. The vote was 56-43, with a handful of Democratic senators -- John Fetterman (PA), John Hickenlooper (CO), Gary Peters (MI), Elissa Slotkin (MI) and Sheldon Whitehouse (RI) -- joining most Republicans in backing Greer, who was USTR chief of staff during the first Trump administration.
