Lawmakers’ Section 301 petition draws a warning from Mexico to Tai

Mexican Economy Minister Tatiana Clouthier late last month sent a letter to U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai urging her to reject a call from Florida lawmakers to launch a Section 301 investigation into produce imported from Mexico, warning against employing measures she described as “outside” the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
