China will seek panel with EU, not U.S., in market economy dispute

The Chinese government is preparing to request a panel against the European Union at the World Trade Organization over its treatment of China as a non-market economy in trade remedy cases, but is not yet pursuing a case against the U.S. even though the EU and U.S. were named in China's consultation request.
