China proposes reform, ‘enhanced’ monitoring to address ‘reciprocal’ tariffs at the WTO
China has taken yet another swipe at the U.S. at the World Trade Organization, calling for members to safeguard the system by improving the transparency and monitoring of “significant” trade measures, pursuing reform outcomes and pushing all members to “anchor” its policies to the WTO framework.
