Cassidy, Graham introduce revised ‘Foreign Pollution Fee Act’

Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Tuesday introduced an updated version of a bill that would set fees on imports based on the pollution associated with their production, a proposal that climate hawk Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) called an “opening bid” for bipartisan legislation.
