Business groups throw support behind new Section 232 legislation

Business groups representing U.S. manufacturers, farmers, food producers, retailers, technology companies and pro-trade advocacy groups have appealed to Congress to back new legislation that would rein in presidential tariff powers. The legislation , known as the Bicameral Congressional Trade Authority Act of 2019, was introduced on Wednesday by Sens.
