Biden administration asks CIT to dismiss Section 301 lawsuits

The U.S. Court of International Trade should dismiss thousands of complaints against tariffs on goods from China because they were lawfully imposed and can’t be subjected to judicial review, the Biden administration said in a court filing this week. Thousands of importers have taken issue with the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration -- under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 -- on $320 billion worth of goods from China.
