Alleging WTO violations, China urges U.S. to end transnational subsidy probe

The Chinese government is pressing the U.S. Commerce Department to close an investigation into cross-border subsidies allegedly provided by China to paper file folder producers in Cambodia, arguing such probes run afoul of World Trade Organization rules and are not authorized under U.S. law.
