USTR names new AUSTR for South and Central Asia

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has named Brendan Lynch assistant USTR for South and Central Asia. The longtime agency staffer had been acting AUSTR since March 2023; before that he was the deputy AUSTR. “Over the last 11 years, Lynch has been a dedicated member of USTR’s team, serving in several capacities relating to the South and Central Asia region, including most recently as Deputy Assistant United States Trade Representative for South and Central Asia,” the agency said...
