Senate Approves Judicial Redress Act, In Boost For New U.S.-EU Data Deal

The Senate on Tuesday evening (Feb. 9) approved by unanimous consent the Judicial Redress Act, a bill that is key to the U.S.-European Union data transfer deal agreed to earlier this month and will allow EU citizens to sue the U.S. authorities over claims of personal data mishandling.
