Korean Legislature Passes Patent Linkage Bill, To Take Effect March 15

South Korea's National Assembly on Wednesday (March 4) approved a bill that will implement Seoul's new "patent linkage" regime, an obligation it committed to under the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement (KORUS). The law, which amends Korea's Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, passed the National Assembly's plenary session and will enter into force on March 15.
